To receive sun safety information

Skin cancer is considered an epidemic in the United States by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Over one million Americans are expected to get skin cancer this year. Exposure to UV rays causes most skin cancers. You can protect yourself and your family by following Australia’s successful Slip, Slop, Slap Campaign:

Avoid the midday sun
Stay in the shade whenever you can
Slip on protective clothing
Slop on sun screen
Slap on a hat that shades your face, neck and ears
Wear sun glasses to protect your eyes
